So Long And Thanks For All The Fish
By: Winslow Homer | March 31st, 2010Well, as our huge readership might have noticed things have been kinda quiet around here. Seems Andrew has gone missing and for the foreseeable future I’ll be manning the ship. Pleased to meet ya and Go Union!
And with my arrival we have a departure…
David Myrie was let go by the team yesterday. It’s a little surprising considering last week’s game was his first in the MLS; he wasn’t on the pitch for the Fire at all last year. You’d think Nowak would give him another shot, off the bench even. But apparently it wasn’t to be.
I’m thinking Shavar Thomas will get the start next week unless Nowak decides Mwanga should get some work there first.
In other news…

Ives is reporting that the Union are giving a workout to the recently cut Danny Szetela He’s had a rough spot recently but if he can play anything like he did a few year back I think it will only help…more when and if it happes…

Wow, I’ve read a lot of your blog posts and they’re all so well written and informative. Are you the moderator of all the teams, or just for the Union?
I just started an up and coming Philly Union blog with 5 other experienced blog writers, and I was wondering if you wanted to trade links. Let me know if you’re interested – jimburrows@gmail.com or contact me at http://www.phillyuniontalk.com

Nope, I just write for the Union, (and only the last two posts haha). The Offside is a pretty huge site with lots of writers for lots of dif teams. In terms of linking back that would be great except I’m not sure I have control over that. You might wanna contact daryl@theoffside.com. He’s the boss and I’m not sure what the rules are on that.
