Welcome to the Offside. As a Philadelphia native, I’m thrilled to see the city finally get an MLS franchise. Once my adopted-city Timbers get in, I’ll have slightly mixed loyalties, but against any other MLS side, I’ll root for the Union.

Thanks for the well-wishes, Dave. The rivalries up and down the northeast corridor will be something to experience, that’s for sure. Can’t wait to visit Red Bull Arena next season.
